North Carolina Baseball Notebook: Hitting the Road

The eight-run eighth inning that the Tar Heels surrendered to Coastal Carolina highlighted an ongoing problem for UNC coach Scott Forbes and the Diamond Heels. The bullpen has produced good outings, especially Will Sandy and Matthew Poston of late, but too often the inability to make clutch pitches has made for a feverish search for consistency.
