Lilli Backes, Kiersten Licea Earn ACC Softball Weekly Honors

After helping lead North Carolina to a 4-0 week and a series sweep at NC State, sophomore Lilli Backes has been named Co-ACC Pitcher of the Week and fifth-year Kiersten Licea earned Co-ACC Player of the Week honors. These are the first career honors for Licea and Backes. Licea slugged a team-best 1.636 on a week where she hit four home runs. (GoHeels.com)
