Sylvia Hatchell To Remain At North Carolina

University of North Carolina women's basketball coach Sylvia Hatchell will return as the Tar Heels' head coach, Director of Athletics Dick Baddour announced on Thursday. "After several conversations with Dick Baddour, I have decided to withdraw my name from consideration for the head coaching position at the University of South Carolina," says Hatchell.
