Rashanda McCants Named To Preseason Wooden List

Richard "Duke" Llewellyn, Wooden Award Chairman and founder, announced the 2008-09 preseason candidates for the Women's Wooden Award All-American Team and Player of the Year trophy Wednesday. The list is composed of 30 student athletes who, based on last year's individual performance and team records, are the early front runners for college basketball's most prestigious honor, and includes North Carolina senior Rashanda McCants.
