Kids get impressive basketball lesson on Field Trip Day as No. 17 UNC women roll over Hampton

Wednesday's lesson for 1,500 kids at Field Trip Day: How to dominate an opponent with defense and team play. There were ear-splitting screams when UNC 3-pointers rippled the net. Students who filled Carmichael Arena enjoyed the education as the No. 17 Tar Heel women's basketball team schooled Hampton in a 62-32 victory in a game that began at 11 a.m.
