Rashanda McCants, Tar Heels have eyes on a title
Posted Nov 14, 2008
Rashanda McCants takes a look at the rafters every day. It's not often an active player can see her number with her last name hanging in a group of honored jerseys. But at the Smith Center, where she and her North Carolina women's basketball team will play home games this season while venerable Carmichael Auditorium is being renovated, "McCants 32" hangs high above the court. The number honors not her, of course, but brother Rashad.
