Tar Heels fall one spot in AP Top 25 women’s basketball poll after loss to UConn


North Carolina fell one spot in the AP Top 25 women’s basketball poll, checking in at No. 25 in the new poll released on Monday. The Tar Heels played even for one half with UConn on Sunday at the Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase in Uncasville, Conn., before losing to the Huskies 76-64. UNC is back at Carmichael Arena on Friday to face Western Carolina. (Tar Heel Tribune)
