Racial slur allegedly directed at Black UNC player before women’s game at N.C. State


A racial slur was directed at a UNC women’s basketball player before the Tar Heels’ loss Thursday at N.C. State, according to a source. As the team entered the court before the game, the source said that some N.C. State students called the Black player a racial slur which the player and part of the staff heard. N.C. State officials are looking into the situation. (Tar Heel Tribune)
