UNC Softball Downs UNCG, 6-4, In Home Opener


UNC Softball earned a 6-4 victory over UNCG in the Tar Heels' home opener Wednesday (Highlights). North Carolina (6-1) is off to its best start since starting the 2012 season 7-0. Freshman Kate Bubela batted a career-best 3-of-4 while plating a team-best two runs. Graduate Lexi Godwin hit a three-run home run, her second home run of the season. (GoHeels.com)
