Brian Moran thriving at North Carolina

Brian Moran has developed into one of the best relievers on the team and in the ACC. If you listen to his pitching coach, Moran might be even better than that. "To us he's one of the best in the country, not just on our team," UNC pitching coach Scott Forbes said. "He just competes this guy." Moran's ascension has been rapid. The sophomore has been nearly unhittable (opponents have posted a .194 batting average against him). (Lower Hudson Journal News)
