Former UNC, MLB star Kyle Seager has high school number retired

Kyle Seager, an MLB star and Cabarrus County native, had his high school number retired. Seager, who played for the Seattle Mariners and UNC, attended Northwest Cabarrus High School, where he led the Trojans to a 3A State Baseball Championship. Selected in the third round of the 2009 MLB Draft, Seager went on to play 11 years for Seattle.
