Posted May 18, 2024
Tied in the top of the ninth inning with Duke, Casey Cook looked toward UNC coach Scott Forbes and received a signal for the first time this season. In the Tar Heels' 52nd game of this season and Cook's 206th at-bat, he was ordered to bunt. It was a pressure-cooker moment for Cook on Friday afternoon, with teammate Vance Honeycutt at first base.
