Vance Honeycutt Named Golden Spikes Award Semifinalist

North Carolina outfielder Vance Honeycutt was among 25 amateur baseball players selected as semifinalists for the 2024 Golden Spikes Award, USA Baseball announced Monday. He is the first Tar Heel to be named a semifinalist for the award since J.B. Bukauskas in 2017. The 46th Golden Spikes Award will be presented June 22 at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
