UNC’s Dalton Pence, Shea Sprague, Aidan Haugh Taken on Day 3 of MLB Draft

Three UNC pitchers — Dalton Pence (Texas Rangers), Shea Sprague (Boston Red Sox), and Aidan Haugh (Minnesota Twins) — were drafted Tuesday on the final day of the MLB Draft, but none could have been more pleased than Sprague. The Red Sox drafted Sprague in the 13th round, which no doubt delighted the huge Boston sports fan from Massachusetts. (Tar Heel Tribune)
