Orioles promote Vance Honeycutt after just eight games in Carolina League

The Baltimore Orioles have promoted former North Carolina centerfielder Vance Honeycutt after only eight games in the Carolina League. Honeycutt made his minor-league debut 10 days ago in Kinston with the Delmarva Shorebirds in the low-A Carolina League but now is off to the Orioles’ high-A South Atlantic League team, the Aberdeen Ironbirds.
