In two games since returning from injury, the payoff in Maria Gakdeng's recovery time has been visible. The senior scored a season-high 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds in North Carolina's 72-53 win against No. 14 Kentucky on Thursday. Last week, she recorded a double-double against North Carolina Central with 10 points, and 11 rebounds. (Inside Carolina)
