The defensive effort for the UNC Women's Basketball team was fitting all the way through its ACC road opener Sunday. The No. 17 Tar Heels were relentless in churning out a 69-60 victory over Miami. Even though UNC (13-2, 1-1 ACC standings) managed to score only seven fourth-quarter points, it didn’t matter. By then, the tone had been set. (Tar Heel Tribune)
