UNC baseball, fresh off an ACC regular-season title and a CWS trip in 2024, checked in at No. 6 in the 2025 D1Baseball Preseason Top 25 poll. UNC is the second highest ranked of the seven ACC teams on the list, joined in the top-10 by Virginia (#2) and Florida State (#9).
