The Vulture: Matthew Matthijs Steady, Ready for More UNC Wins

Matthew Matthijs calls himself a patient person. He loves hunting and fishing. And his pitching persona is "the vulture." He thrives in bases-loaded situations and absolutely hates walking batters. Matthijs burst onto the scene as a sophomore for UNC last year, recording a team-high 12 wins. Matthijs started his baseball journey not far from Chapel Hill.
