UNC Women's Basketball misses out on double-bye, will start ACC tournament play Thursday
Posted Mar 2, 2025
With No. 8 UNC Women's Basketball’s first consecutive losses all season, the short-handed Tar Heels failed to earn a double-bye in the ACC Tournament. The Tar Heels’ 78-75 upset loss to Virginia, playing without Reniya Kelly and Alyssa Ustby, means they open play in an 11 a.m. Thursday second-round game at Greensboro’s First Horizon Coliseum.
