Diamond Heels Run Wild in Win Over Stanford

A season-high four home runs propelled UNC to a run-rule 11-1 victory over Stanford in seven innings Saturday. UNC put together a convincing response to its first loss of the season, scoring 11 runs on 12 hits with no errors to even the series and set up a Sunday rubber match. Jake Knapp threw his first career complete game in a career-long 7.0 innings.
