Watching from North Carolina, Alyssa Ustby tuned in to this year's WNBA Draft and watched in anticipation of her next potential stop. She didn't hear her name called among the 38 players selected, but Lynne Roberts, the newly hired coach of the Los Angeles Sparks, contacted Ustby about the chance to compete for a roster spot on the team.
