Culture and comfort helped turn UNC's Kat Rodriguez into one of the best in college softball

No other player in college softball is generating runs for her team the way Kat Rodriguez is for UNC. One easily could make the case that the 5-foot-5 native of Pembroke Pines, Florida, is among the best hitters in college softball this season. In addition to leading the nation in runs-batted-in, she’s ninth in batting average (.464) and seventh in hits (77). (SB Nation)
