Posted May 10, 2025
No. 4 North Carolina rallied from a four-run deficit to tie the game in the eighth inning, only for the Tar Heels’ bullpen to let them down. No. 16 N.C. State scored three runs in the ninth inning to take an 8–5 win on Friday at Boshamer Stadium, with the series-deciding game at 1 p.m. Sunday. UNC fell short, but showed that they are never out of a game.
