UNC Baseball adds Georgia State transfer Michael Maginnis to 2026 roster

Just a week ago, Georgia State standout Michael Maginnis entered his name in the transfer portal. Fast forward seven days, and Maginnis has found a new home in Chapel Hill. At Georgia State, he played in 138 games, starting 121 of them. After serving as a primary infielder during his freshman season, the 6-foot-1, 211 pounder transitioned to the outfield.
