UNC heads into super regionals with one of the most well-rounded profiles in the field. The Tar Heels’ pitching staff has been among the nation’s best all season, ranking top five nationally in ERA (3.44) and WHIP (1.21). Their offense, while not overwhelming on paper, is built to grind opposing staffs down, which it did very successfully in the Chapel Hill Regional. (Baseball America)
