Tar Heel left fielder Carter French is all-in on everything. He's a classic overachiever: organic chemistry, lift, biology, cage time, physics, genetics, postseason baseball. The nickname the UNC coaching staff has lovingly given the junior outfielder tells the whole story: "Dr. French." French juggles a rigorous academic load as well as being a D1 athlete.
