Luke Stevenson entered the professional ranks with first-rounder status on Sunday, when Seattle made him the No. 35 overall choice in the 2025 MLB Draft. He's the highest-drafted catcher out of Carolina in 40 years, since B.J. Surhoff was the No. 1 overall pick in 1985.
