Jessica Breland Named To Midseason Wooden Top 20

The mid-season top 20 candidates for the Women's John R. Wooden Award, the nation's most coveted women's college basketball award, were named Thursday, and North Carolina junior forward Jessica Breland was among those selected. The Kelford, N.C., product is averaging 13.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game and leads the Tar Heels in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots and field goal percentage.
