Long journey for 5-star freshman Taliyah Henderson following second knee surgery

Perseverance and drive to reach the moment have been motivating forces for Taliyah Henderson. When she plays in her UNC Women's Basketball debut on opening day, that will be 468 days after she last swished a jumper in a game that counts. That day has been the goal since she heard a loud pop during an AAU game in July 2024, tearing her ACL.
