Lanie Grant Serves As Young Mentor For UNC Women's Basketball Freshmen

Despite a new batch of freshmen poised to play in Carmichael Arena, sophomore guard Lanie Grant will still be the youngest player on the UNC Women’s Basketball roster. At 18 years old, Grant is an outlier among the Tar Heels' youthful lineup — the eighth-youngest team in the NCAA — and has taken on a leadership role that far exceeds her inexperience.
