UNC women survive 'ugly' first half to pull off a beauty

By the time North Carolina finished off Monday night's 75-60 women's basketball victory against arch rival Duke with wide smiles and a few flashy flourishes, the Tar Heels looked like a team that had an easy night. But when Tar Heels coach Sylvia Hatchell took the microphone to thank the boisterous Smith Center crowd following the game, the first thing she did was apologize for a brutal first half.
