UNC Women's Basketball buries record 16 3s vs. Virginia, clinches No. 3 seed in ACC tournament


No. 21 UNC Women's Basketball buried a school-record 16 3-pointers Thursday night at John Paul Jones Arena, shooting 66.7% from beyond the arc in a convincing 82-70 victory over Virginia. The win locked up the No. 3 seed and a double-bye in the ACC tournament and kept the Tar Heels firmly in the conversation to host NCAA tournament games. (Tar Heel Tribune)
