UNC Softball Off to Historic Start to its Season


UNC Softball saw its first loss following a historic 17-0 start to the 2026 season, falling to Boston College 10-2 Sunday at Anderson Stadium. 2000's 10-0 start was the Tar Heels' previous best start. Infielder Emily Legette has set the tone for this heavy-hitting lineup with 10 home runs. Outfielder Sanaa Thompson leads the team with 32 hits so far. (TarHeel247)
