UNC Softball Run-Rules NC State, Clinches Series, 11-3


UNC Softball clinched the series over NC State with an 11-3 five-inning run-rule victory on Friday evening (Highlights). Carolina exploded out of the gate with a 5-run first inning. Sanaa Thompson extended her on-base streak to 20 games and set the Tar Heels' record for most runs in a season. Lexie Roberts extended her on-base streak to 17 games. (GoHeels.com)
