UNC’s freshman guard Liza Astakhova enters transfer portal

UNC freshman guard Liza Astakhova has entered the transfer portal. She played only 12 games and 57 minutes during her only season at UNC, scoring 25 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. With the glut of guards, including three from the transfer portal, and four others returning, her prospects for more playing time next season didn’t look promising. (Tar Heel Tribune)
