Former Tar Heel guard ’s WNBA dream has been realized, as she secured a spot on the Atlanta Dream’s opening-night roster. Nivar, a second-round pick (28th overall) in the WNBA Draft, played 32 minutes over two preseason games, collecting 11 points, four rebounds and two assists, going 4 of 8 from the floor and 1 of 3 from 3-point range.
