There’s only one underclassmen in the starting lineup for UNC baseball. The No. 5 overall seed Tar Heels (48-11-1) have relied on veterans via the transfer portal and homegrown experience to reach the Chapel Hill Super Regional series against Southern Cal (47-16). But freshman outfielder Tyler Howe has been an underrated part of UNC’s success.
