After going undefeated and winning a national championship last season, the UNC women’s lacrosse team fell just short of repeating. The No. 2-seeded Tar Heels fell to No. 1-seeded Northwestern, 14-11, in a rematch of last season’s title game. The Wildcats handed UNC its only two losses of the season, the other coming 17-16 in overtime. (Daily Tar Heel)
