Posted Jun 12, 2026
The Diamond Heels return to Omaha for their 13th trip to the College World Series. It is a second trip in three years for coach Scott Forbes, who is the first coach in UNC history to earn a CWS berth twice in his first six seasons. The Tar Heels have gone nine times with him on staff. UNC is the only team to have made it to Omaha twice in the last three years.
