Built to reload: UNC Baseball’s portal formula helps deliver another College World Series trip

Six of the Tar Heels’ starters are newcomers from the transfer portal and another is a freshman. Yet UNC Baseball is the only program in the country to reach the College World Series twice in the last three seasons. That's not an accident. Coach Scott Forbes said it is not a matter of grabbing as many portal players as possible and hoping the pieces fit. (Tar Heel Tribune)
