North Carolina senior right fielder and biology major , affectionately known as Dr. French, went from going 2-for-3 with a run and a walk in Sunday’s 5–2 College World Series victory over No. 9 West Virginia to working on his final report for an organic chemistry lab as he finishes his undergraduate degree before attending medical school.
