Macon Winslow & Matthew Matthijs Round Out 2026 MLB Draft For Carolina

The second day of the 2026 MLB Draft saw University of North Carolina baseball's Macon Winslow and Matthew Matthijs selected to round out a six-person draft class for the Tar Heels. The junior catcher Winslow was a sixth-round pick by the Philadelphia Phillies while senior captain Matthijs was picked up by the Seattle Mariners in the 17th round. (GoHeels.com)
