One-Hitter Earns White National, ACC Honors

Thanks to one of the most dominant performances by a North Carolina pitcher in recent memory, junior right-hander Alex White picked up both Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week and Atlantic Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week honors Monday. In last Friday's series opener against Miami, White tossed a complete-game, one-hit shutout in a 3-0 win for the Tar Heels. (Tar Heel Blue)
