Alex White Set to Pitch Game 1

Despite a lingering right hamstring strain and a blister on his right index finger, UNC pitching ace Alex White is expected to start Game 1 of the Super Regionals against East Carolina at Boshamer Stadium this Saturday. The Greenville, N.C. product struggled for the second straight outing on Saturday, coughing up five earned runs and four hits in 4 2/3 innings against Coastal Carolina. (Inside Carolina)
