Right-hander Alex White set a Carolina record for strikeouts in a College World Series game with 12 versus Arizona State, matching his career high for the second straight start. He now has seven double-digit strikeout games in his career, including three this season. White, who also struck out 12 against East Carolina in the Super Regional, recorded 10-plus Ks in back-to-back starts for the first time in his career.
