No. 5 Tar Heel Women Wrap Up Exhibition Slate With Big Win


Freshman Krista Gross led all scorers with 16 points and sophomore had a double-double as No. 5 North Carolina closed out its exhibition schedule with a 121-52 win over Division II Carson-Newman Tuesday at the Dean E. Smith Center. The Tar Heels shot 53.6 percent from the field for the game, forced 34 turnovers and outrebounded the Eagles, 66-33, en route to the victory. (Tar Heel Blue)
