UNC Women's Basketball signs two


The University of North Carolina women's basketball program signed two high school seniors to National Letters of Intent, head coach announced Wednesday. The two members of the class of 2014 are Latifah Coleman of Pageland, S.C., and Shannon Smith of Gastonia, N.C. Coleman, who attends Central High School, is a 5-9 guard. A three-time all-state performer, Coleman has scored over 1,000 career points and has played on three AAU state championship teams. (Tar Heel Blue)
