UNC's returning guards, Italee Lucas and Cetera DeGraffenreid, are known commodities. Lucas was coming off an injury and struggled, but DeGraffenreid asserted herself and had 12 points, four assists and five steals at halftime, ending with a near triple-double. Other than that, Carolina was dead even at the half in rebounds and turnovers with a Coastal Carolina team they had every athletic advantage against.
