UNC's Breland working hard to shake cancer


Instead of being a source of production on the court for the Tar Heels this season, has become a tremendous source of inspiration. She has already undergone five months of chemotherapy, which regularly left a metallic taste in her mouth and caused her to constantly feel nauseous. The cancer is now in remission. Breland, 21, returned to practice this week and will be on the bench today when North Carolina meets No. 1 UConn. (Stamford Advocate)
